David Carlson serves as financial advisor for Forest Home ministry partners and manages Forest Home’s investment portfolios. He enjoys helping others experience God’s pleasure in their stewardship. He has over 20 years’ experience in a diversified background of financial planning, estate planning, charitable planning, investment management, trust administration, corporate finance, real estate, insurance and business development.
David holds an MBA with honors from the USC Marshall School of Business specializing in finance, investments, and entrepreneurship. He also holds the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designation in advanced financial planning and the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designation from The American College of Financial Services. He is a California Licensed Professional Fiduciary (CLPF) and holds a Certificate in Professional Fiduciary Management for Trustees from California State University, Fullerton. David also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL.
David and his cherished wife Erika have the joy and privilege of raising their three children.
Lisa Moffett manages the operations of the Forest Home Foundation. She has broad managerial experience having worked with several Christian/non-profit organizations throughout her career. She has managed a building campaign for a Christian university, developed a building campaign for a mega church in Southern California, and served as a Development Operations Director for a national non-profit organization.
Lisa was introduced to Forest Home through friends who had come to Forest Home for many years. Her grown children have also spent many summers at Forest Home.
Lisa is married to Robert, and they attend Calvary Chapel Bible Fellowship in Temecula.
